Again, this will depend on the project as well as our work load. On average, a 5-10
page informational website will take roughly 5-7 business days start to finish.

Is my website to small for your company?
No! There is no web project that is too big or too small. We do everything from
small repairs and updates to fully featured custom business management systems.

Does it matter if I'm not in the same city as you?
No! In many cases, there are no face to face meetings, unless requested. If have
a small informational site, most everything will done over phone and email communication.

Do I own my website?
Yes! Ricketts does require that the credits at the bottom of the website remain,
but you have complete ownership of the site. If hosted with us, we give you ftp
access which allows you to download the files. If not, we will send you the files
in a zip format.

Yes! We have done websites where they are not in English, or what to have a language

After my website is live, how long before I show up in search engines?
You can usually expect to see the results of your website being indexed by the search

How can I see the progress of my project?
Upon contract signing, we will design a graphical mockup of the website design for
you to approve and make modifications. Upon approval, we will break the graphical
mockup into xhtml and css code. Then we will setup a subdomain such as http://yourdomain.rickettswebdesign.com
where you will be able to view the progress as we build the website.

What do I need to provide to get my website off the ground?

off the ground, we just need your functionality and design details, graphic files
such as logos and any text or photos you would want to use on the website.

Can you do updates to my website after it is live?
Absolutely! A website can always be updated or modified at anytime (additional charges
will incur). However, all of our websites come with a content management system
programmed right into your custom website. This allows you to make text and photo
updates yourself!

I already have a website, can you update it?
Yes! We can program in most every web development language and would be happy to
update your website. We do everything from design changes to functionality updates.

Should Flash be used on my website?
We like to use small flash elements. Just enough to keep the users attention. Although
flash is the hottest trend right now, heavy amounts of flash can actually hurt your
website from a technical standpoint.

Should my entire website be built in Flash?
Absolutely Not! 100% flash website are fun and look great with all of the animations,
but there are a few major drawbacks. The biggest draw back is virtually no search
engine optimization, which many times you will not appear at all in the search engines.
